Our History
Kjorn is a Thai word, meaning 'nurture' and 'growth', and also forms part of the owner's family surname. KJORN HOME started life in 2013 as a personal design project as a private residence. Inspired by the owner's travels and fond memories across Europe and Asia, the development took over four years, incorporating colonial architectural influences, as well as an innovative use of eastern and western design styles, which includes art deco, contemporary and local traditional craft. The home is filled with an exquisite private collection of Asian antiques. Since becoming Chiang Mai's premiere vacation residence in 2024, KJORN HOME has been host to international dignitaries, celebrities, business entrepreneurs and discerning travelers from around the globe.
